In partnership with TDHS, ChildcareTennessee administers Support and Enhancement Grants that allow any child care provider licensed with TDHS to apply for up to $4,000 to enhance equipment, programs, including supplies, and consultants and coaches.
Child care agencies in economically distressed counties identified in by the Governor’s office may apply for up to $5,000. These counties are Lake, Lauderdale, Hardeman, Perry, Wayne, Clay, Grundy, Bledsoe, Scott, Hancock, and Cocke.
A second year of Support and Enhancement Grants is now open. Licensed child care agencies can apply at ChildcareTennessee.com. Applications close on September 1, 2021.
